I am using hp Compaq vc4725 LNX thin clients. It’s have VIA C7(1.0 ghz) processor , 2gb RAM and 2gb flash memory attached to it.

Doesn’t it have an HDD?
Is this Thin Client suppose to boot from the server?
Or is the 2GB flash it’s boot disk?

it doesn’t have HDD. The 2gb flash is its boot device. A lighter version of OS is required.
Have you tried Lubuntu? I think it can fit into 2GB.
Oh! And, whatever distro you try, don’t forget to download the 32 bit version, since the CPU is x86 architecture, not x64.
