Printer for Linux

I’ve used to use Canon printers, but the jets clogged easily and wouldn’t clear with built-in jet cleaning. I’ve always had good luck with Epson so I tried an Epson WF-7620. It was more reliable and capable for the money. In addition, I learned to clean the jets with a bit of 90% alcohol, a syringe & tygon tubing (6mm OD, 3mm ID). I’ve used the printer with generic ink every day for 8 years with no problems.

The HP Envy series seals ink cartridges between uses. I’ve had one set last a year and a half without drying out. Their Instant Ink program is a dynamite way to keep your ink expenses low. Epson and Canon? I’ve thrown their inkjet printers in the trash.

I found the same problem with Canon, but, I also found their customer service totally sucked when I tried to get some help with the issue (brand new never used for printing only sending FAX) Basically, your SOL and buy another one.
It just got added to the list of companies never to do business with again
