We all know the king of privacy videos, Rob Braxman, and other popular video creators like Mental Outlaw. I want to share a criminally underrated privacy-focused channel with the community today: TBOT (Take Back Our Tech).

He goes quite a bit deeper than some like Naomi Brockwell, covering topics I’ve heard few others discuss. Additionally, he has released privacy-friendly phone, tablets, and laptops that I’m surprised have not been mentioned (to my knowledge) by the It’s Foss community nor on the main page. They also have an Above suite of privacy tools that seem intriguing.

Another slightly underated channel also available on Odysee is Switched to Linux. He covers a range of topics that would be of interest to everyone here. When it comes to privacy news, he’s typically one of the first to have a video on it.

Who are some of your favorite privacy content creators? I’ve primarily mentioned video resources, but feel free to share blogs and other mediums.

I have a problem with videos, is there any text material.?
I googled TBOT and it returned something entirely different.

I googled "tbot" privacy and it found 3 different meanings

1. TCL Tbot (AI Desktop Companion/Smartwatch) 

2. TBOT Marketing (Privacy Policy)

3. TBot (App Store Generic)

I think you are referring to No 1 … the AI desktop software?

I’m the same - when it comes to tech content - I prefer to read than have someone talking at me…
