Problems updating flatpak, Mint 19.2

When I run the command

sudo flatpak update

I get the following:

Installing: org.freedesktop.Platform.openh264/x86_64/19.08 from flathub
Warning: Failed to install org.freedesktop.Platform.openh264/x86_64/19.08: runtime/org.freedesktop.Platform.openh264/x86_64/19.08 needs a later flatpak version (1.4.2;1.2.5;1.0.9;)

My first inclination is to ignore it as being not very serious. Is that right?

Personally I wouldn’t be that worried at the moment

Needs a later flatpak version to be installed. That’s all.

when I run

sudo apt upgrade flatpak

it says I am running the latest version.

According to the distro version’s respective repositories you do run the latest version. But that almost never is the actual latest version.

If you run Debian Lenny, then maybe Kernel 3.2 is the “latest” kernel, or whatever was latest at that time. It is by far not the latest, universally, though.
