I am dissatisfied with 20.04 and I want to replace it with Mint.
I have an ASUS AMD A8-5500 desktop PC .
I am having a lot of trouble determining the EXACT steps that need to be executed and their order so that I can use my Mint DVD.
Can anyone please just tell me exactly how to proceed?
(I already installed it on my HP G62 w/o any issues, but ASUS seems to have very different procedures.)

I am guessing that you have Ubuntu 20.04 installed on ASUS system, right?
If you have data on that system that you don’t want to lose, copy it on an external USB disk.
And then, proceed with installing Linux Mint pretty much the same way you installed Ubuntu.
