I know this might have been asked earlier, but none of the found answers fulfill my goal.
For running Windows apps, there is Wine. Is there something similar for running Android apps on a Linux desktop?
To be clear: I don’t want a bootable ISO with an Android emulator on it. Maybe there is something out there that can deal with native APK files.
“, Waydroid can use APK files directly by using the waydroid app install command followed by the path to the APK file in the terminal. Users need to have Waydroid installed on their Linux machine and can use the command to install applications after the initial Waydroid setup is complete.”
Is that what you need?
I have been wanting to try Waydroid , maybe you could be the testbed.
