Hey everyone,
I know the news about Red Hat restricting their source code has been a bit issue in the community lately, and we even have a short discussion here about it. I found this article talking about how there is some evidence in the past that Red Hat has violated the GPL. The article goes in depth on how Red Hat’s business always skirts the line of violating the GPL and that Red Hat purposefully keeps things murky.
I do not have any evidence myself to prove or disprove that Red Hat isn’t violating the GPL, but considering their recent actions, I also wouldn’t doubt that they are doing so constantly.
