I have tried one tutorial from you https://itsfoss.com/fix-sound-ubuntu-1304-quick-tip/#comments, but unfortunately the suggestions didn’t work. I have Ubuntu 18.04 in X1 carbon 8th generation.This is my audio configuration.
Audio: Card Intel Device 9dc8 driver: snd_hda_intel
Sound: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture v: k5.3.0-53-generic
My default sound output shows the following:
HDMI/DisplayPort-Built-in Audio
Headphones- Built-in Audio
I have no sound from the speakers and from the headphones. I ran videos, no sound came.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
