Spotted image on Mix - good one for Debian wallpapers?

update: looks like someone also posted on Reddit 5 years ago! ha!

Yes, it has the right color balance and contrast..
One can usually fix images in Gimp for use as a background.

I knew it! The world runs Debian!

It is cheaper than petrol at this time,:money_mouth_face: but is it compatible with the drivers.:joy:

Sorry the jokes don’t get any better on a sunday

Dunno if I’d use that one posted by the OP - it’s fairly low res - maybe okay on a VGA 1280x1024 - but not QHD 32" - it would be pixelated… But easy enough to search for image in google for the same thing in higher res (and maybe already letterboxed to landscape for wallpaper).

And if you’re referring to cropping that image to a 4:3 or 16:9 ratio - you could more easily do that in Shotwell - I find GIMP cumbersome to use when I want to do something simple (like crop or rotate) - and I especially DETEST how it insists on saving a JPG or PNG file you’ve opened as XCF - if you want to save to another format - you have to EXPORT)… Shame GIMP can’t switch to PNG as the default - like PSD, it supports layers…
