Time to buy a new book …
Not seen AppleTalk (1985 to 2009) or Novell (1983 to 2009) for some time …

Very early network stuff but AppleTalk was revolutionary in it’s day

I would love a new book. But the one which im using is the one our state education board told us to refer to.

And yh its really too old. Acc to this book, the fastest processors are i3 gen1 and pentium…

Did not know that still existed or was still possible to use …

At my first 16 + college I was teaching borlands turbo pascal, then upgraded to turbo c , then when i moved to teach programming at university it was teaching using c++ on turbo, and that is 30 years ago … dont remember much about objects now getting too old and moved too many times.

But borland the developers of turbo were leading edge at the time, no longer in existance after so many take overs mergers etc.

Keeping a laptop clean is priority.
A wash with a bit of warm soapy water keeps it looking like new.

Funny image… I was on holiday at a remote location and a fellow trecker had a problem with her keyboard so I washed it and left it in the sun during the day to dry, it worked fine after that but it was a very old keyboard so nothing lost either way.
