To Safety Core or Not

Just wanna drop a line and ask if anyone’s had any hiccups using that Safety Core business. Had myself a right ol’ pickle with it – twice over!

First off, my darn phone got all tangled up in Safety Core’s web while I was using a work VPN. The messaging system went haywire, routing through their server in Sweden. Now, I’ve still got some random bloke stuck in my app, and the company can’t find him on their end. It’s been two months, and he’s still lurking on my phone like an unwanted houseguest!

Then there was the debacle with Windows 11. Those Microsoft folks had gone and routed system services through Safety Core servers. I had to disable it sharpish. So, spill the beans if you’ve got any horror stories about Safety Core causing grief for ya too.

For those who have not encountered this, Safety Core is an Android thing that scans images for unsuitable content.

Microsoft uses Core Isolation, secure core same thing just different. Proton offers secure Core connections, same thing too, just different way a saying it. Secured-core PCs provide extra protection for people handling your most sensitive information. I used the term Safety Core./Core Isolation This can be disabled in windows. Proton offers secure core protection to me Safety Core and secure core and core isolation seem to do the same thing. One offers hardware protection like MS Core Isolation and Safety core software driven. They all scan our devices for security Threats, its this scan that I really am trying to ask about.

I believe that is why I am back to Linux, Paul. When I returned, I wanted to refute the reason for going back to Linux. Can I explain why I am back with the penguin now? Wait you already did that in your post. Thanks Paul
