Turkish Translation Contribution for ItsFOSS

Hello everyone,

My name is Emir Faruk Topal, and I am a technology writer focused on Linux, open-source software, and AI.

I would like to ask whether there has been any discussion about creating Turkish content for ItsFOSS. Turkey has an active Linux and open-source community, and I believe many users would benefit from high-quality Linux articles, tutorials, and news in Turkish.

I would be interested in helping translate existing ItsFOSS content into Turkish and contributing to a potential Turkish section in the future. I am open to both volunteer contributions and other collaboration models if there is interest.

I checked the site and newsletter and there is currently no Turkish version or localization.

There is a strong Turkish Linux community, so I think Turkish content could help reach more readers. I’d be happy to help if needed.

In 2024, I made the same offer and received a positive response, but for various reasons I was unable to go ahead with it. That is why I would like to start again from scratch and get back on a steady footing in 2026, please.
