Ubuntu Mouse Pad not working

DELL INSPIRON 15 3521 MOUSE PAD NOT WORKING. what should i do

Hi.
Is there any physical switch in the area of the touchpad?
Some notebooks happen to have this to disable it.
Or some kind of “Fn + ??” key?

These methods definitely work, so there is something wrong with your touchpad or your OS installation or you didn’t use the methods as described.

this one right here. not in ubuntu for me. those both enabled tap to click and vertical scroll after installing synaptics. debian (preparing a post about today’s debian adventures probably for tomorrow) needed synclient to change a couple settings.

just saved my bacon again playing around in void lxde
