I just upgraded a couple VMs to the new 24.04.2 release. So far so good, but it’s only been a few minutes.
Is anyone else playing with it?

I have 1 or 2 laptops working with that release (direct installation and not by upgrade) … so far is good

I’ve got ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS as a VM
Gnome.
Not played much yet. Not looked into .2
Can do but have yet to suss how to.

It’s all I use (installed, not as a VM) and it’s been fine until today when I encountered a minor problem.
Yesterday there was a big update that included a kernel change from 6.8 to 6.11. This morning I was unable to connect to my server (also running 24.04.2 and updated yesterday). After some noodling around I found that ssh had been changed to “disabled” on the server. I re-enabled it and all is well.

That’s disturbing. It did not happen on two servers I updated today. Knock wood that good luck continues.
