VLC interval/intermission config or script

Hello friends, trust all are doing well.

So, this is not really related to Linux, but more of a general query regarding VLC.

I wonder if there is some way to create interval/intermission points in VLC using some config/script so that it pauses exactly at the halfway point of your video file.

Say the video is 80 minutes long, so right at 40 minutes, VLC pauses automatically (an interval graphic/image/splash will be a not, but not necessary).

Sorry if this is just a silly/timewasting request

Best,
Rohit
