I vote the same.
I must be the odd one out here… I find Virtualbox difficult and annoying. It has a Windows-like feel to it that I can not get used to.
Well at least now i know secure boot is disabled
and i will look in to virt-Manager . Thank you all for this
i installed virt manager but it was to advanced for me did not understand much of of it.
You need to read
Thank you Neville
Me three… VirtualBox was probably the “easiest” because the same interface applied on Linux, Windows and even MacOs… Soon as MacOS went risc/ARM - forget about VirtualBox on Apple!
I support application servers running on KVM…
My choices :
01 - VMware ESX with vSphere or vCenter (sic)
02 - KVM with virt-manager
… bunch of cloud solutions like AWS or Azure
99 - VirtualBox…
VirtualBox was great - but like nearly everything Oracle (and Larry Ellison) get their hands on on - they ENSHITTIFY it…
But even my “top choice” of running a workload on VMware ESX - yeah - Broadcom bought VMware off DELL / EMC and - proceeded to rapidly ENSHITTIFY the whole ecosystem…
How to shoot yourself in the foot: Broadcom.
I can’t believe what they’ve done. It’s as if they want that division to fail. They’ve priced themselves out of the market.
