What do (G) and (S) mean at samba's parameter configuration?

Hello Friends

In the official documentation of Samba exists the smb.conf(5) page, it has the Explanation Of Each Parameter section.

Practically for each parameter shown - at the end of its own name - has practically explicitly two possible values as either (G) or (S) and others nothing.

Question

  • What do (G) and (S) mean at samba’s parameter configuration? (and empty/nothing?)

I see where it says %G is the user’s group and %S is the name of the current service.

Not sure if that is what you are asking though.
