Try Linux Magazine. They have DVD’s.
Yes i get a copy of that when i see something of interest but have to order or subscribe. Our local newsagents only stock french language and some of the items i struggle with the language.

What for? It’s nearly impossible to find any laptop, pc, whatever still having the drive installed. Maybe a game console but most all of those have an online ability. The overwhelming use for this is USB. Much easier to deal with an find.
You can get a DVD drive that plugs into and powers from USB ports. I use one . It takes 2 USB ports.
I have no idea why magazines have stayed with DVD’s, perhaps because some older computers will not boot from a USB drive.

Yep. Had one for many years but only used it maybe a couple of times in all that time. Mine is a USB 3 so I don’t need to carry a power brick around. Thumb drives are much more reliable and easier to deal with.
