Twice in the last month, I saw where ZDNET has recommended Wubuntu as a Windows like Linux based on Ubuntu. I surely have not hear of all the Linux Distros, but when I went to DistroWatch, I was surprise that it was not even listed there. There are 275 Distros listed at the site.

Yes have read the same stories, but not tried either to download or install. The stories suggest it looks and feels like windows and even comes with apps, but dont think i will bother
May give it a try with VirtualBox!!!
So you use VirtualBox in Windows to run a Linux that looks exactly like Windows.
That sounds useless but I guess you get to test it?
And if it checks out in VirtualBox I have machine to use it on real hardware!!!
No more useless than distro-hoping!!!
It would be interesting to compare the speed of that versus real Windows
