Need a quick fix regarding XFCE4 weather applet not providing data any longer. It seems that the weather provider has stopped sending data. Any way this issue be fixed. I have d’Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with XFCE4 desktop environment. A response is highly appreciated.

Change the weather data provider.
Sounds like it may have been using Dark Sky as it sprovider. My (Gnome Shell) weather applet is still getting data from them, but I registered for an API key before they stopped handing those out. If the applet was on any kind of public feed, that’s very likely toast now.
