I know it’s a very vague question and may not even make sense, but is there a list of good base fonts that you can all recommend?

Vrijwel alle basis lettertypen zijn in Linux Ubuntu aanwezig. Ik gebruik alleen het lettertype die ik zelf het mooist vindt en dat is Verdana 12pt.
Je kunt elk lettertype gebruiken waar je voorkeur naar uitgaat.

100% : it’s too vague…
But all the main Linux on the Desktop “vendors” offer way too many - more than any single person could ever use in a lifetime… it’s like they’re trying to please everyone, while pissing off serious users like me (I don’t NEED every iteration of Kanada that humans have been using since the post-Iron age to scrawl on cave walls).
I’m now intrigued to see what Valve offer with SteamOS (on the SteamDeck KDE arch based distro - not their previous Debian offering for “everything x86_64”)…
