I now have both Ubuntu 20.04 and Windows 10. I have a wireless connection and I know its name and password. I just do not know how to get it setup in my Ubuntu. Would you kind people please advise me as to how I can make this happen? I thank you in advance!

that looks like the one. if if doesn’t list the name you are looking for, you would click the arrow to the right of the name and that should show you other wifi names that are available.

Sorry friend, mine does not have that option. It’s simply not available. Now what do I do? Remember that I have it on windows. Thanks!

yours does not have what option? it will be helpful if you can describe what you did and what happened when you did it. since we can’t see your computer, we need you to tell us what is happening :slight_smile:

I have a 1year old Lenovo laptop and with Windows I use a wireless setup for the internet. I also have Ubuntu 20.04 with the mouse working now but there is no wireless connection. The drop down menu that I get when I click on the upper right corner shows sound, files , log-off but no internet connec…

hopefully there is a way to get that working for you. it may just take some time of trading messages back and forth like this and asking some questions to see what is going on. are you able to use wired internet? do you have any internet connection right now?
