As far as I know, I think the microphone may have a conflict with PipeWire.
As I said before, I don’t have access to my PC. As soon as I have access, I’ll check if there’s any possibility or how to configure the microphone on the PipeWire.
I’m sorry if my reply isn’t immediate. However, there may be someone on the forum who can help in the meantime.
For anyone who can help, I’m thinking of an incompatibility in the sampling frequency, for example, the mic only works at 44.1kHz.
Thanks for your reply Jorge, still not found a definite answer why my webcam microphone does not work on Zoom. I am able to use headset mic which does work but not suitable for the type of meetings I attend. Hope you will have an answer for me.
In the Sound window that opens, click the Input button and check that you have the Webcam Microphone device. If you do, check that the volume is at 100% and speak a little to see if the Input level bar changes:

Hi Bruno,
I apologize for the delay in responding, but I have only just accessed the forum.
This matter has not been forgotten.
When I am at my PC, I will continue trying to get the camera audio to work
Congrats on your age and for using Linux
Thanks for the screenshots. I’ll take a look and let you know what I think.
Sorry for being so step-by-step, but contrary to what @nevj Neville said (thanks, my friend), it’s also difficult for me and I don’t know how else to do it.
Hi Jorge, no problems. I have been on Linux since the first Ubuntu CD was sent to anyone requesting it, being in South Africa made it easy. I only use Windows to see out of my office.
