Why did you quote that?

uBlock mainly blocks ads. I’ve found Disconnect blocks things in addition to that, tracking wise.

Sometimes I need to disable one or the other or both for certain sites to act properly. Normally I just skip it if that’s the case.

Big fan of Vivaldi. Been using it since the beta release. I occasionally use Zen. It’s a nice change and it works for CUPS passwords - which chromium-based browsers usually don’t.

Brave is interesting. There have been some new tracking methods that get past everything except Brave (and maybe Firefox with full uBlock Origin running).

I love it when things appear in French. I studied French in high school, and although I do not use it in my regular life, I still read every word and then try to figure out (look up if I fail) what the other non-obvious words are.

Additionally, I use Brave Origin exclusively. I used Vivaldi for a long time, because I’m simply not enamored by the AI, an Vivaldi ditches it completely. With BO, all the junk is stripped out, giving me a clean browser I can get behind. I use Proton Pass and Dark Reader as my sole extensions

This looks familiar - I think I looked at it a few years ago, and so much of it was en Francais, I couldn’t get around it that well. :frowning: Downloading what they just released 4 days ago to give it a whirl!

French is really easy,… if you see young children 4 or 5 year old and they chatter away in french really quick… So it cannot be that hard.

I have an excuse, my wife only talks to me in french, have not got a clue what she is saying especially if it involves me working or paying. French language is designed to put off the English, how do I know… You go in to a bar and say bonne jour, they reply bonsoir, the next night you go in same bar same time and say bonsoir, they reply bonjour ! Why because they know you are english…

But I love my life in france, where else can you get away with kissing all the girls every time you meeting. Trouble is, now I have to Kiss the boys as well.

Do you refer to the same French as I do?

Yes, that’s the paid version. I really like it. No Leo AI, none of the junk. If you’re running Linux you don’t have to, but I am very content with the browser so I paid for it.

I haven’t tried yet. I’ll throw it in a VM rather than install it on bare metal.

There is a french town called condom to add to the humour
