Enlightenment weirdness

Hi all,

nothing new to report, just a small note.

Some of you might have noticed I could finally solve the display-error message when trying to run my Bodhi VM using its native Moksha DE
(Display error in virtual machine - #12 by Rosika ).

That gave me the opprtunity to check anydesk behaviour with Moksha…
… which should be interesting as Moksha is a fork of enlightenment:

As per the official developers, Moksha desktop is a window manager with most of the
functionalities that you’d expect from a desktop environment.

So, it’s a mixed package of being a window manager and a desktop environment.

Furthermore, it is a successor to the Enlightenment 17 desktop environment as a fork of it, existing since 2014.

Moksha desktop can be seen with Ubuntu-based Bodhi Linux, a project originally made around Enlightenment DE.

(from: Moksha Desktop: Here's What You Need to Know)

Interestingly enough I didn´t run into any diffculties at all.
anydesk ran well and it didn´t produce any freezing effects.

My Bodhi installation is 32 bit, but I cannot imagine this has anything to do with it.

O.K., I´m not any wiser now but just wanted to let you know of this interesting comparison .

Many greetings from Rosika :slightly_smiling_face:
